On 1st October, American Airlines has filed for an application with the US department of transportation to operate flights to Shanghai. If approval is given, American Airlines Shanghai flights will be launched on 5th April 2011. The flights to Shanghai from Los Angeles will be nonstop ones and will be operated on a daily basis. These flights from Los Angeles to Shanghai will be ensured by the carrier’s Boeing 777.
