Malaysia Airlines minimised its carbon footprint

Malaysia Airlines The airline reduced its carbon footprint by signing an agreement of 5 years with the engine manufacturer Pratt & Whitney. This new agreement will allow Malaysia Airlines to hire a cleaning equipment EcoPower ® to wash his own engines at the international airport of Kuala Lumpur. In addition, the solution of eco-efficient washing system EcoPower ® engine reduces fuel consumption up to 1.2%. Note that Malaysia Airlines and its affiliates have a fleet of 100 aircraft that includes Boeing 747-400, B777-200, B737-800, B737-400, Airbus A330-300 and A330-200. At last with Malaysia Airlines seat availability, passengers would have the possibility to have more seats onboard its aircraft.

Qatar Airways support Tour de France

Qatar Airways has announced that it will support the official Tour de France during a press conference held in Paris. Qatar Airways will support the official Tour de France operating a special flight July 24, 2011 from Grenoble bound for Paris Orly International Airport. The special flight of Qatar Airways was set up to transport the cyclists, their teams and media to the final of the race. Note that Qatar Airways the official airline of the Tour de France will serve the special Airbus A330 flight. New Boeing 737-800 Malaysia Airlines

The Boeing 737-800 operated by Malaysia Airlines Boeing are the first to bear the Sky Interior Boeing in Asia. They also optimize a 4% fuel consumption through their winglets and reduce CO2 emissions. In addition, 10 Boeing 737-800 seating charts Next Generation of Malaysia Airlines will carry 162-189 passengers.
