Iberia resumed its flights to Buenos Aires

The airline Iberia has resumed its flights to Buenos Aires on the evening of October 17, 2011. The company also plans to operate the flight Madrid-Buenos Aires October 18, 2011 at 1:05 ET to provide an additional flight with the largest aircraft in its fleet. Note that Iberia had canceled its flights to Buenos Aires, due to ash clouds caused by the eruption of Puyehue, located in the Andes. Additional flights to Equatorial Guinea Iberia

Iberia has decided to increase its flights to Equatorial Guinea or to Malabo. The additional flight Malabo allows the company to serve Equatorial Guinea six times a week. The additional flight is served from Madrid every Tuesday with 220 seats and flights from 5 to 6 flights a week. Note that Iberia serves Malabo Airbus A319 equipped with comfortable seating and an entertainment system on board with Play Station Portable (PSP). Iberia confirms the delivery of its Airbus 330

The IAG Group has confirmed the delivery of 16 Airbus 330 for the airline Iberia, 8 A330/300 aircraft have a firm contract and 8 are optional for the long-haul fleet of Iberia. The new Airbus 330 will be powered by CF6-80E1 engines from General Electric are the latest technology to improve the efficiency of fuel consumption, reduce emissions and extend the operational life. The first Airbus delivery of the Airbus 330 is scheduled for 2013 and will be for the replacement of 16 A340-300 of the Spanish airline Iberia. At last with Iberia seat availability, passengers would have the possibility to have more seats onboard its aircraft.
